Three different questions
Paylines evaluate specified paths. Ways games evaluate symbol combinations according to their own reel rules. Cluster games evaluate qualifying groups rather than a conventional line diagram. A label such as 243 ways is not directly comparable with twenty paylines as a measure of value.
When the source disagrees
Some JILI product pages use one number in the feature description and another in the dedicated payout field. Our profiles keep the disagreement visible and avoid silently choosing the larger number. Use the actual game help screen to resolve the configuration before relying on a comparison.
Do not compare unlike counts as if they were odds
A line count tells you about a defined path; a ways figure counts combinations under another set of rules. Neither number alone tells you the return, stake efficiency or likely experience. Read symbol values and the full-bet definition in the current paytable before comparing two titles.
